After the Kick Off Meeting held in Marseille on January 2017 and the observation period carried out in the different partner universities in February 2017, the EuNIT project reached a new milestone: the first cooperation training sessions have been held in April and May 2017.

The 24 selected trainers from Jordan, Lebanese and Libyan universities have participated in the training delivered by University of Barcelona, University of Messina, University of Nice and University of Santiago de Compostela.

Over three days, those trainings were the opportunity for participants to have an overview of the theoretical and technical framework of Erasmus+ Programme, its political priorities for Euro-Med region and the tools commonly used in European project management such as logical framework matrix, work packages or accounting rules.

In order to broaden the perspective of internationalization of the future units dedicated to European project design within partner universities, the trainings also approach the cooperation programmes developed in the Mediterranean area such as ENI CBC Med (European Neighbourhood Policy Instrument Cross Border Cooperation programmes).

Participants had then the opportunity to practice their theoretical training working on a project design.

EuNIT project wants to be innovative, those training sessions have been recorded and will serve to edit MOOCS that will be downloaded online: this aims to support the training of a greater number of project designers and managers mainly targeting Higher Education Institutions in Eastern and Southern Mediterranean Basin.
